when: from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Get ready to worship with a crowd at the Alliant Energy Center for the Rock and Worship Roadshow on Saturday, February 4. The event starts at 6 pm, but to get in and get good seats we�ll meet at the church at 4:30 pm. Admission is $10 at the door. Sign up for �High School - Young Adults� is on the narthex bulletin board. I encourage all families to try to attend this one. It should be a lot of fun!

Happy New Year! Holy Epiphany!

Epiphany, by definition, (according to my old reliable Webster) is, “a Christian festival (January 6) commemorating the revealing of Jesus as the Christ to the Gentiles.” It is the day that the Gentiles first became aware that God in Jesus Christ came for all people—not just a chosen few. This of course is news! Big news! Bold news! Kind of like a major news day when all media interrupts regular programming for the special announcement: Jesus came for ALL people. It is, itself, an epiphany (small e). New knowledge. New news! And so, we celebrate. Join us for the celebration—in music, prayer, and worship. All are welcome. And when we say “all”, we mean ALL. Everyone is invited to worship at Peace—young, old, rich, poor, male, female, single people, married people, families, vegetarians, meat lovers, junk food junkies, chocolate lovers, New Year’s resolution dieters—simply and officially because Jesus came for us ALL. So…come to worship, dine at the Lord’s table, find a home in this faith community of Jesus. Oh yeah—you might need to know when we gather–Saturday at 5:00, Sunday morning at 8:00 and 10:30.

Hidden Talent Night: Intro to Power-Pro Yoga - Thursday, January 26 6-7pm

Let’s start off the new year with Yoga!! Our instructor Heidi Gaugert will ‘power-pro’ us through the art of yoga. Bring a yoga mat or exercise mat if you have one. Not necessary if you don’t. No charge for this relaxing Hidden Talent night! Space is limited.
